PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLATION
Congratulations on purchasing a ShopSAR.com Pillar Post kit. Manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish, this set will enhance the beauty of your vehicle and remain rust free. This set includes the following:
- 1- Right Front Pillar Trim (A)
- 1- Left Front Pillar Trim (A)
- 1- Right Rear Pillar Trim (B)
- 1- Left Rear Pillar Trim (B)
- 1- Right Rear-Rear Pillar Trim (C) (included w/6pc. set)
- 1- Left Rear-Rear Pillar Trim (C) (included w/6pc. set)
Step 1
Please take a few moments and carefully inspect all pillar trim pieces to insure that they are completely free from defects and damage. Peel back the white protective liner in order to thoroughly inspect. Carefully hold each piece in place on your vehicle in order to familiarize yourself with each part’s specific location, position and proper fit. For proper adhesion, the surface must be dry and the vehicle and trim temperature must be above 65 degrees. Clean the vehicle’s surface on and around the designated installation area. Do not remove the “Red-3M” protective liner until instructed to do so.
Please Note: Under no circumstances will credits or refunds be issued for installed parts and/or parts that have had the “Red-3M” protective liner removed.
Step 2
Position the pillar trim in the exact finished location and mark the surface of the trim and the vehicle using masking tape. Mark the tape with a soft marker using hash marks to designate the part placement for top, bottom, and side to side. Now, carefully remove the “Red-3M” protective liner and install the trim into place using the hash marks as your guide. Complete the installation by pressing down with a soft cloth across the trim moving top to bottom. Repeat installation procedure for all pieces.
Please Note: Once the adhesive backing makes contact to the vehicles surface, installation cannot be reversed. Attempting to lift the trim from the surface will cause damage to the trim.
